BLESS THE WORLD'S FARMING AND AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY...
EcoSikh Canada supports the rights of farmers globally.
The happenings in India have been detrimental to the nation's farming community and their families.
We support peaceful protests as has been the honorable display by Indian farmers.
The Indian government has displayed autocratic processes on such wide-scale impacting reforms related to the farming and agriculture industry.
Such legislation changes directly affects over 60% of its population and their families.
Justice should be served in the form of a full repeal.

and the Earth is the Great Mother’

COVID - 19 UPDATE
EcoSikh Canada wishes everyone a safe and healthy journey through this pandemic. We encourage our governments' direction to be followed and required social and physical distancing practices will be applied to our events and business accordingly.
As a result of recent spread in cases across Canada and regional lockdown orders, we have been forced to delay our 2021 start and any approved events will be managed strictly in accordance with regional and government directed operating procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants and staff.
Regular updates will be provided on our site as we progress through the pandemic.
We plan on being creative this year as the Board has mandated an evolution of our engagement and initiatives as we continue to pursue our mandate.

ADOPT A SEED PROGRAM - ECOSIKH CANADA
BROUGHT TO YOU IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TRCA IN AN ATTEMPT TO HELP OUR CLIMATE ACTION CONTINUE AS WE ADAPT TO THE CURRENT PANDEMIC TIMES.
Due to Pandemic Planting Event Restrictions and Season Change, 'ADOPT A SEED' will resume in 2021...stay tuned!
EcoSikh Canada have partnered with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to offer an exciting seed growing opportunity this summer during the pandemic to align with the 'new normal'.
This shift in our volunteer engagement and events business model provides everyone the opportunity to support the local Meadoway Project by kick-starting the planting on their own property.
Participants will be mailed packages of assorted native wildflower plant species to be grown at home.
We will provide resources and instructional videos to get you started and help with any questions along the way. Participants will plant seeds and care for flowers until they are mature enough to transplant at one of TRCA’s meadow restoration sites and/or have the option of keeping half of the plants they grow for their own gardens!
Seed package availability is limited so sign up now!
IS THE OFFICIAL SIKH-CANADIAN COMMUNITY'S RESPONSE TO CLIMATE CHANGE
14,000+ TREES PLANTED IN 2019
EcoSikh Canada Inc. is an independent not-for-profit environmental organization operating across Canada. Our organization promotes and facilitates unification of the Canadian Sikh Community in climate action.
We are proud environmental contributors that provide opportunities for the Canadian community to engage in educational, partnership and participation programs and events that align to Canada’s Climate Plan, 1 Trillion Trees Campaign (World Economic Forum), 1 Million Trees (Global Sikh Community) and Guru Nanak 550 Tree Planting Forests projects.
As the official Sikh Community response to Climate Change, Sikhs across the globe are planting to honour Sikh faith founder, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and his teachings on the environment by creating Guru Nanak 550 events and forests as part of the EcoSikh climate action program.
With Climate Change a top priority in Canada and across the globe, EcoSikh Canada has made it our duty to grow awareness on Climate Change within all geographies and populations in Canada and include all Canadians in CLIMATE ACTION.
Through strong partnership with all Canadians, educational activities and active service, EcoSikh Canada services to protect Canada, and the world, from incrementally detrimental effects of Climate Change.
